Adron's Fight Against Cancer

Many people have requested something to be set up to donate to the Benedict family so this was the easiest thing to do at this time. We are also looking into a t-shirt fundraiser as well.
My brother in law Adron, sister Samantha and my nephew Chandler are going through what most would call a nightmare. At the young age of 24, Adron has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, B Cell and T Cell. Having both are extremely rare and very scary. He will undergo 8 rounds of chemotherapy over the course of 6 months in hopes that this will rid his body of the cancer from his spleen, liver and a spot on his neck. What makes this situation so much more heartbreaking is they are expected to deliver their 2nd baby boy, Aston Cole, in early August . My sister Samantha will be off work for non paid maternity leave (her work does not offer medical leave) and Adron will be in and out of work going through his beginning rounds of chemo. Each round being worse than the last. We do not know what the days ahead will be like. This is all new for all of us. Adron is set to have his 3rd round just days before Aston is due to arrive. Chandler will have to remain in daycare during this time as my sister can simply not take care of a newborn, her husband while he’s sick and a 4 yr old who is very curious as to what is going on. They want to keep things as normal as possible for Chandler and their family, despite their world falling apart around them.
Upon this new found cancer diagnosis, Adron has been battling Crohns disease for over 4 years now. After multiple hospital stays, expensive medications and a wonderful doctor, he finally got into remission. However, that only lasted a short time before complications led us to this new diagnosis. Just in the month of May, Adron was hospitalized twice, working only 4 days for the entire month. He underwent 2 liver biopsies, 1 bone marrow aspiration and experienced lots of pain before getting his final diagnosis of cancer.
You never think this would happen to you or someone you love, but it is life and it is reality. The Benedict's have such a long life ahead of them full of hugs and kisses from their littles and we want to make this as easy as possible for them. We want them to be able to enjoy bringing in their new bundle of joy and not stress as much as possible during this journey. Adron is a tough man but at this time, he can not be as strong as he would like to be. Expenses and everyday life itself are adding up very quickly for them and it has become very overwhelming. If you would like to donate, any bit helps. We ask for anyone to share their story and most of all to pray for peace, comfort and good healing for my sister, brother-in-law and nephews.
