Adopt-a-Family 2019 (Year 10!)

Donation protected
Ladies, Gentlemen, Friends, Family, Brothers, and people of all shapes and kinds:

We hope everyone had a happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

**Year TEN of the Christmas Adopt-a-Family Project...** (wow!)

If you are reading this, you are obviously in some shape or form a part of our little circle of life and/or have participated in this heartwarming experience in the past--and we are thankful to have you there.  We'll also post on Facebook to see if anyone new is interested and we are requesting that you share this project with anyone you know that may be interested in participating...

As the holidays approach, each of us can agree that we are blessed with many things- friends, family, jobs, and "stuff." We provide for ourselves at a rate that is astounding, and we often take that for granted. Unfortunately, not everyone can say the same. With that said, we are once again asking a favor of each of you.  Together, let's help a family (or families) in need this Christmas season. The goal is to raise enough money to provide a VERY NICE Christmas to a family who otherwise cannot. As always, we will do all of the leg work and document it so that you can see just how far a little effort can go.  All of our previous projects have been a huge success and we are looking forward to continue the momentum this year!

It's easy--choose an amount that you're comfortable contributing and we'll do the rest--(we've asked for set amounts in the past, but so many people contributed different amounts that it's easier to just let participants choose an amount). You can contribute with a check or more easily with a few clicks via the website. That’s it.

**If you are aware of a family in need, please let us know.  Please understand that we have a limit on what we can do, but we always try to expand the project as best as possible.  We are in the final stages of selecting the family for this year’s project and are still accepting nominations, but we will close those tomorrow so we can proceed by this coming weekend.

We've will contact with the family to collect a list of needs/wants/wishes; we will purchase the gifts and have them delivered a day or 2 before Christmas; and we'll even get some pictures so you can see just what you did. You're welcome to come with us if you'd like to see it firsthand.

At this time, please do us the favor of letting us know if you are interested in participating.  Send a private message, text, email, or snail mail--but please let me know within the next week. If so, I will get you all of the information to proceed. We need to have an idea of participation level no later than Monday, December 9.

The plan is to have the ball moving this week (actually right now!--the ball IS rolling). We'd like to have a good feel for participation interest by Monday, December 9.  Money collected by December 16.  Gifts purchased by December 21. Gifts delivered by December 24.

Please feel free to also pass this along to anyone that you think might want to help. With enough support and participation, we will continue to add families to our list.

In the true spirit of Christmas,

Eric
