This is our time as friends and family of Lacey, Garrett, Sydney, and their sweet angel Rylan, to rally behind them and support them. We are hoping and praying that giving some financial support during this time will help the Adkins to have some peace of mind. The journey is long but He is still good.

For 1,126 days we desperately prayed for the Lord to bless us with a baby. We tried countless fertility medications, treatments, and procedures, 3 failed IUIs and 1 round of IVF. Praise the Lord, IVF worked the first round and we were blessed to be pregnant with not one, but two precious miracles. We were so excited when we found out we were having a boy, Rylan Kyle, and a girl, Sydney Kate. I had textbook IVF where everything went perfectly and the pregnancy for the first 20 weeks was amazing with only a few very minor bumps in the road. At 20 weeks and 3 days, my water broke very unexpectedly for Baby A (Rylan) and our lives were turned upside down. I am now 21 weeks and we are not sure what our journey is going to look like for the next few weeks but we know the Lord is hearing all of our prayers and that above all else, He is still good. Even though we have been told Rylan will likely not make it because he has little surrounding amniotic fluid left, we know the Lord is the Great Physician and can do miraculous things for our baby boy. And we are so thankful that he has brought us this far and that He will continue to guide us during this scary time. While we would never have chosen to go down this path to parenthood, we know that this is a part of His plan and He is using our testimony to bring praise and glory to His name. Fast Forward to 12/28/17:

Today was the most bittersweet day. It began as the most beautiful day welcoming our long awaited miracles born at 23 weeks and 2 days. Rylan was born first at 11:49 am, weighing 1.5 lbs and measuring 11.5 inches. Sydney Kate was born second at 11:54 am, weighing 1.25 lbs and measuring 11 inches. However, this evening our sweet baby boy went to be with Jesus. While I cannot even describe the sadness we all feel, we know our sweet Rylan is no longer suffering and is being held in the loving arms of our Jesus and will be watching over his little sister. We have a long road ahead of us as Sydney Kate is still so little and fighting really hard. Please pray for our family as we celebrate our miracle baby girl and mourn the loss of our beautiful baby boy. Above all else, He is still good. #JourneyToAdkinsBabies
