Goal — My goal is to have 10,000 people across the globe contribute $5 each to my campaign. Then, invite their Facebook friends to also support my cause
Who am I? — my name is Hamed Adewale Ishola and I was born in April, 1983 in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria. I migrated to Chicago Illinois USA in 1996 and I never forgot about home. As a healthcare care professional and humanitarian, the welfare of the masses is always top priority to me.
What am I doing? — I am aspiring to become a lawmaker in The National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the upcoming election in 2019 to represent the beautiful people of Égbéda/Ona Ara local governments in Ibadan Oyo State.
Why am I running for office? — First, I am running for office because majority of my constituents have asked me to come and lead them, and I feel so honored, yet very humble. Second, I find myself always using my God-given talent and skills to serve others and that element has been showcased in my philanthropic journey as well as in my career as a healthcare professional over the past decade. Third, Nigeria needs me. Nigeria and Nigerians need a youth with pedigree that is educated and can help add value to the country for the betterment of the masses. I can help make laws and policies that will benefit the masses as well as alleviate poverty.
What do I need? — History has shown that majority of politicians use other sources of funds that cannot be confirmed or are funded by a Godfather when running their political campaign. History has also shown that politicians that spend recklessly to become elected usually neglect the masses once they get into office, they build a fence and forget about the voters. I have gotten very far working with the masses and I have seen measurable success without any Godfather sponsoring my campaign.
I am counting on your financial support and contribution to ensure that I have the victory by becoming the first and youngest lawmaker in the history of Nigeria that will win both the primary and general election with the support of the general public nationally and internationally. When I begin serving as a public servant, I will surely be indebted to the thousands of people across the country and globe that support my dream and vision. No amount is too small, you can contribute as little as $5 which will help greatly in achieving my ultimate goal.
Conclusion: I want to build a bridge and not a fence. it is time for young innovative future leaders with vision to participate in the Nigerian public affairs. If you believe like I do, join hands with me and help me become a lawmaker in the Nigerian National House of Assembly.
Sincerely,
Hamed Adewale Ishola
