Mission to Help Cancer-Stricken Husband

My husband of 30 years was diagnosed in early February with liver and lung cancer and a cancerous tumour near his spine. He has gone through radiation therapy, which made him sick and constantly nauseated and lost from 174 pounds (his best weight) down to 121 pounds. He truly resembles a concentration camp victim and he's now just a shell of who he once was, physically. He now needs more medical treatment that insurance is not covering. The Marinol that was prescribed for him is not covered on our insurance, although our doctor is fighting the ins. people on this, as he HAS to have it! As it is, it costs $320. for a one month supply. There is hope for him with the meds that have been prescribed for him, but insurance won't cover some of these meds and they cost more than we can feasibly afford. 

He is 100% disabled and i am disabled, too, so there is a lot of stuff i can't do for him, which saddens me greatly. He means everything in the world to me and to see him suffer as he has is heartbreaking.  We can't afford the kinds of food that would help him nutritionally, especially in the amounts he would need to eat. 

He also recently broke a rib while coughing, we think because of the radiation therapy. This coming Tuesday (June 24th) he starts chemotherapy. He's also been diagnosed as anemic, which doesn't help matters, as he has no appetite without the Marinol. That Marinol is what can help make a difference..he actually has an appetite when he has Marinol handy. So the Marinol is ESSENTIAL in his recovery!

  A friend told me about this site and i'm praying that God will provide an answer for him to fight through this insidious battle and win! He has been a great husband and provider for me and my now-grown kids (when they were growing up). He has a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off his back. I would like to be able to repay that in some way; i'd like to think this site can help on that front. ANY donation(s) in any amount would be greatly appreciated.
