Additional Boys Dorm Building Project 2019

Subic Bay Children's Homes greatest need at this time is an addition of a boys dorm.  The plans have been drawn and we now have a cost to build the dorm.  There will be three bedrooms and each bedroom will be able to accommodate nine boys.  There will also be a room for the houseparent, indoor showers and toilets as well as a small living room area.    The dorm will be able to house 27 boys, more if needed.

According to the United Nations’ Children’s Rights & Emergency Relief Organization about 1.8 million children in the country, more than 1% of its entire population, are “abandoned or neglected."  Subic Bay Children's Home is taking in as many of these children as we can.  This past year we have taken in nine new children, majority of them were boys.  The need of an additional dorm is immediate.
