Support Addison Floyd, in the loss of Daniel

Just 10 short weeks ago we gathered to support my sweet niece, Addison Bosscher, as she married the love of her life, Daniel Floyd, after a storybook 4 year romance. Now, the unthinkable has happened: Daniel has died suddenly and unexpectedly, shattering dreams of a life together. At the age of just 20, Addison now faces a host of unknowns in the coming days, weeks, and months. It’s an unimaginable journey as she says good-bye to Daniel and the life that they had dreamed of together and now faces the daunting task of setting out on her own.

So many of you are already asking how you can help. Although this is certainly not a situation she ever thought she’d be facing, I’d like to offer a way for you to help her as she faces a now-uncertain future, needing to re-launch into the life God has for her.

As is common in newlywed life, Addison & Daniel were still in the process of joining their lives into one, including all the little details. While they were working on adding Addison to Daniel’s insurance policy, it had yet to go into effect as they waited for her name to be changed. Further, while Daniel’s work provided life insurance for their employees, it will not cover this tragic loss. This leaves Addison with no easy path forward to deal with funeral and burial expenses, as well as no “safety net” to allow her ample time to grieve and decide what comes next.

We want to take as much of the financial stress and burden off Addison as possible as she learns to navigate life without her beloved Daniel. Any funds remaining after burial expenses will help Addison rebuild her life and get a fresh start.
