Adaugo Ihezie's medical treatment

Meet our daughter Adaugo, she is six years old. Adaugo is diagnosed with a brain tumor; which led to her missing some milestones and not walking again. Currently, she has developed movement disorder and non-stop constant seizures. All these complications have not been responsive to medications.
At one year and eight months old, Adaugo gradually started becoming weak and she lost stamina. At about 2 years old, she couldn't walk. We took her to an Orthopedic Hospital in which she was placed on physiotherapy with cast placement and medications. After 2-3months of treatment, she walked for some months but gradually, she couldn't walk anymore. When our daughter was three years old, we visited her Doctor whom now referred us to a Neurologist at Abia State Teaching hospital. Due to the numerous strikes, we were unable to seek medical attention.
At the age of four she had head and hand tremor. This time around, we took her to UNTH where she did series of tests and MRI. Doctors suspected that it might be a brain tumor. The results showed that our own Adaugo has brain tumor.
With the overwhelmed development, we later did an EEG test which showed she has developed focus seizures. She was placed on Keppra syrup, Enciphabol, and other brain medicines including Epilim. At a time the medications did not help our daughter with any improvement, the doctor recommended phenobarbital. She was on phenobarbital till we went to Federal Medical Center Owerri. Due to all these complications, a new development occurred. Her left hip got dislocated. We focused on fixing it but she has nonstop seizures. The Orthopedic Hospital referred us to their neurology unit so they can focus on controlling the seizures. The doctors stopped her from taking the phenobarbital medication and she was placed on Tegrettol. As the days goes by, her conditions worsen. The doctors has tried series of seizure drugs but still the seizures continues to occur. We have been advised that an operation should be done on her asap in order for her to survive.
Our daughter needs immediate medical attention including deep brain stimulation surgery and brain tumour surgery in order for her to live an independent life again. During our numerous consultations with the doctor, we paid for several consultation fees (including pediatrician, neurologist, physiotherapist), lab test, MRI test, scans. We are pleading for financial assistance; the total bill of $12,500 is needed for Adaugo's medical bills. This bill includes her surgeries and other managerial therapies that would aid her to regain her life prior to her predicament. We are calling on you to help Adaugo walk, live and be a happy child again. Thank you and God bless you.
