Adam & Family Recovery Efforts.

Hi, my name is Caitlyn. I am Casey's sister and as most of you know her significant other Adam was involved in a horrible event yesterday.

Monday August 30th an active shooting took place at the landing estates mobile home park in Normal IL. Adam was shot through the chest and into his neck (verified per Casey). He was rushed to the emergency room where they discovered he had bleeding in his esophagus, broken vertebrae, and a collapsed lung. He was placed on a ventilator and they airflighted him to Peoria Hospital. Casey & his Father Mark were able to be with him before he was sent off to surgery around midnight in hopes to repair the esophagus and retrieve the bullet. No further information at this time but will update as I receive them.

Adam is wonderful, genuine, kindhearted and just one of the most amazing souls you could ever come in contact with. He puts everyone before himself, has helped my sister raise my niece into the bravest, smartest little girl, and just has so much life left to live. My family has known Adam since he was 8, but im lucky to say I've known him my whole life and we are hopeful that he can fight through this tragic event.

I'm making this go fund me to help out Casey, Mark, and Riley during these difficult times as they will have to travel back and forth between peoria and bloomington for work, for Rileys school, and to be with Adam the most they possibly can. There will be take out meals, gas, as well as countless medical expenses rolling in. If you wish to donate it would truly help Adam & Casey's family in the rough road to come and allow Casey & Mark to spend time with Adam as much as possible in his time of need. Nothing goes unappreciated and the prayers and sweet gestures you have all offered means the world to my Family. We are thankful for all of you and continue to pray that Adam pulls through this and makes his way home for recovery.
