Adam Brisben Motorcycle Recovery

I am lucky to be alive.
On Saturday Aug 12th, I was hit by a car while riding my motorcycle home from work. My helmet saved my life but I have suffered many injuries;
• 3 cracked vertebrae (no paralysis)
• 35 sutures for head lacerations
• a section of my bowel was removed
• broken tibia & fibia
• 3 amputated toes - right foot
• ongoing reconstruction for my right foot and ankle
•other areas of road rash.
Miraculously, I was able to avoid amputation of my right leg. My injuries would have been less severe but the car continued driving after impact while I was on the hood.
Though both parties are insured, I am concerned if my family will have sufficient resources to get by during recovery and the settlement process.
Gina is scrambling to move us into a 1st floor apartment. Our current place has just one bathroom on the second floor.
I am still very fortunate. Gina has been amazing during this tough time. My mother flew out to help during hospitalization (16 days). I am still in rehab but may be released next week. Family & friends from our community have been helping with my son, Max.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I've never requested aid like this before and it is very unfamiliar. I just know we need help.
I am grateful to be surrounded by such love & support. Thank you.
