ADA Accessibility for Officer Jones

I am the wife of Officer Andrew Jones, an 18th year veteran of the Chicago Police Department. Jones as we all affectionately call him, is the patriarch of our family and is loved and revered by his family and friends.
In February 2016, Officer Andrew Jones suffered a massive heart attack while working at the station. Due to the quick thinking and heroic actions of his fellow Chicago Police Department family in blue's use of the newly installed AED (automatically external defibrillator), his life was saved. In April, Jones walked into the hospital and literally hasn't been home since. Since April 2016, he has had several stages of amputations on his left foot and right leg. He is currently in a wheelchair and with rehabilitation and prayer, Jones will one day be healed enough to receive prosthetics and walk again.
Your generous donation will help make our home ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible. Due to insurance limitations Jones is nearing his 100 day limit in the nursing/rehabilitation facility. This means adding an exterior lift to access the home and allow Jones to easily to go to rehab and the multiple doctors' appointments every week. An interior lift is also needed to access the restrooms and bedrooms that are on the 2nd floor of our townhome. These and the other adaptations are quite costly and Jones is ready to come back to his home.
Officer Jones loves being surrounded by his family and friends, this is evident by the mulitiple visitors he's had during the hospitalizations and rehab stays since February 2016. It would mean the world to me, our family and especially my husband, Officer Andrew Jones, if he is able to be home by the Holidays.
I know that everyone is not able to give, but all donations will be received with love and a grateful heart.
