Acute illness and end of life care

Most of you probably know how our mother’s health effected everything in our family.  From being able to travel easily, to participating in family holidays or gatherings, to just going outdoors; these things became more and more difficult for her and thus for my dad to do.  Once we grew up and left mom and dad’s home to start our own lives, it seemed that things got even more difficult for mom, and thus for dad. 
Slowly over time, as she got worse, the time spent caring for her increased to where it became my dad’s second full time job.  We all loved my mom and prayed that things would change. That one day she’d be able to live more healthily and happily. Sadly, this day was never to arrive. 
These last 3 months have taken a toll on my dad, both emotionally and physically, and last of all -financially. 
We know that my mom would have wanted him not to suffer the huge financial burden of her failing health, just as much as she wanted not to leave us here in the first place. 
If you are able and willing to contribute to our mother’s medical bills- it would help alleviate part of our dad’s burden that he is currently carrying.
