Active Duty Marine Corps Family House Fire

We are organizing this fundraiser for our dear friends Mario, Jessica and their three children.

Mario, who is an active duty Marine, is currently away on a military exercise with his infantry battalion.

On 13 October 2021 the family was celebrating Lorenzo's (son) birthday. To end a great day the family settled in to watch a movie. During the movie the family dozed off and fell asleep. At approximately 11pm Jessica (mom) awoke and smelled smoke. She quickly found the master bedroom engulfed in flames. Through the smoke and heat mom was able to get all three kids out safely. However, their dogs were still in the house. Jess once more entered the residence to rescue the family pets. In the process, Jess sustained some injuries that required hospitalization and stitches.

Mario & Jess work so hard to provide for their family. In fact, they recently purchased this home a few months ago.

Overnight, this family has nothing. Every room was damaged and nothing was salvageable.

This fundraiser aims to normalize the lives of these kids who overnight, lost everything.
