More information about Animal Care Trust: ACT transforms the lives of suffering animals in northern Taiwan, with a focus on stray dogs and cats maimed by illegal poachers' gin traps and wire snares, but also sick dogs like Audrey, the puppy in the photo, who is currently being treated for a nasty mange infection. ACT operates two sanctuaries caring for over 150 animals and rescues about 200 every year. We find great homes for cats and dogs and provide lifelong sanctuary and care for those animals not suited to adoption.

This is a special Xmas appeal to raise £12,250 so that we can pay off all our outstanding vet bills and start the New Year with something in the kitty to get us through trapping season—our busiest time for rescuing dogs, cats, and other animals maimed by poachers' gin traps and wire snares.
