Help ACS Survive a Disaster

American Christian School needs your help! Several years ago, after making it through a terrible storm that almost ripped the roof off and ruined every inch of our grade school, an old underground oil tank was found to be leaking on our property.
We were forced to spend $300,000 to clean it up but were told by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection that we could apply for a special fund they had which provides funds to non-profits so they can remediate to the degree the government demands.

Unfortunately, the government is telling us the fund is ‘experiencing a shortfall’ and is unable to reimburse us at this time or possibly ever. As a small, non-profit (501-C3) school, we simply do not have the ability to pay such an expense. 

Thankfully, after 51 years, ACS continues to provide a very unique, highly successful educational experience – which in addition to providing excellent academics, focuses heavily on community service (over 5000 hours of service/year), leadership training and developing individual accountability; our students are not just being taught how to transform the world, they are already doing it.
