Accomdation & transport for spinal operation

Hi, my name is Tracy. My son was born in 2017 with a rare dwarfism condition of sedc. This is the same condition as Warwick davies as.

Due to this my son as had a complex medical journey this past 6 years, from being born not breathing for 16 minutes, having a tracheostomy fitted at 3 weeks old, being ventilated until he was 4 years old, always being tube fed, and didn't come home from hospital until he was 7 months old.

We've now been told his c1 is not stable and needs to be fused to the base of his skull.

Without this surgery a simple slip or fall could cause him to be paralysed, or even be fatal for him.

This surgery is to be done at a hospital which is almost 200 miles away.

He is expected to be in hospital for at least 10 days, to which only one parent can stay with him.

This is unless we can raise some much needed funds to be able to get Accomdation for my eldest son to stay near to the hospital with myself and Tommy and the petrol money for dad and his sisters to able to travel over to visit us

Many many thanks for all your donations. Its such a relief to know that Tommy's big brother will be able to be there for him and I. I will leave this running for now though as any excess will be used so that dad and sisters can drive over and visit more than once a week.
