Accident & traveling expenses for Rachel Pittman

This week was suppose to be one of the best weeks ever. My dad and I and Lilly and Nate were driving to Massachusetts to see Chelsea Uphoff get married. Our trip came to an abrupt halt when we were in a car wreck Saturday morning on I-70. My car is totaled...fortunately me and my kids were not hurt too bad. My dad however is in the ICU with a major brain bleed. My heart is broken in so many ways....

I am grateful for family, friends, co-workers, and my church for the love and support.

Rachel is a lifelong friend to me and many of us. Two of her children, Lilly and Nate were with her on the trip to see Chelsea's wedding. Rachel's father, Wayne Pittman ministered here in Hutchinson for many years and is a special person to so many as well. Rachel and the kids were released from the hospital and are recouping in a hotel in Colombia, MO, while Wayne is still in the ICU at the hospital.

At Chelsea's request, Rachel and the kids are staying with Wayne.

They are having many additional expenses due to the accident. Medical bills, hotel bills, car rental charges, eating out, etc. I am hoping to raise enough money for these expenses as well as to fly Chelsea and her new husband here to see their injured family and hopefully have a celebration with them.
