Kolton Ford is an extraordinary friend, horse owner, and sport horse in-hand handler. He generously offers to school and handle our Arabian horses at shows across the country with professionalism and grace. He has bred some exceptional Half Arabian sport horses, including the lovely anglo-arabian filly, Acapella.
Acapella suffered from choke on September 17th during the midst of unhealthy air conditions caused by wildfire smoke. She subsequently developed pneumonia and a collapsed lung. She is slightly improving, with weekly blood draws and veterinary care.
Acapella's owner and breeder Kolton Ford was at Sport Horse Nationals at the time of Acapella's diagnosis and the filly has been generously cared for by friend and arabian trainer, Jennifer McCloud.
We are fundraising to support our friend Kolton with Acapella's veterinary bills, that are currently over $2,000.
