Perry's Fight

We are trying to raise some money for my uncle, Perry Bateman, owner of 7-11 Plumbing from Cicero, Il. He has been diagnosed with ALS aka Lou Gherigs Disease. This disease has affected millions of people with no cure. The disease affects your muscles and brain. Its a gene that basically tells your body to shut down. The only words the doctor can say is ,"Im sorry". Since Christmas he has lost the ability to speak and he cant even hold his head up. He can no longer walk without the help of a walker and a wheelchair. Perry was a hard worker and a good man. He and his wife were always there if someone needed help. My uncle Perry now is having to depend someone else to do everyday activities. He has went from helpful to helpless in a very short time. He cannot even drink a glass of water in a 24 hour period.

Since he has gotten sick he has been unable to work. Perry and his wife are now not only losing this battle with ALS but they are also losing their home. He went in on Aug.13, 2014 at Northwestern Hospital to have a feeding tube placed. He has went from a 5'9 185 lb man to a measley 111lbs in less than a year. We ask that you please donate to our cause Perry Plight with ALS. The money will help with all the medical expenses occuring daily and hopefully a new home .
