Abuse victim needs medical & legal help

Hi all, my name is Phoenix, 

I am raising funds for medical and legal reasons as a result of the horrific child abuse due to religious beliefs in witchcraft I experienced as a child.

 

I was accused of giving my mother lung cancer and ultimately killing her, I was just a child and the impact of that abuse is something that will be with me forever.

I did continue to experience abuse as a direct consequence of being labelled a witch for years later being beaten and made to kneel, frog-jump, aeroplane pose for hours, the impact of these means I suffer from extreme joint pains,

broken knees both knees ( bursitis), depression, PTSD, anxiety as well as other medical issues as a direct result of the abuse I experienced as a child and it has stopped me from working. 

My knees can get so bad, it’s hard to get out of bed in the morning or even use the bathroom painlessly.

I used to model, doing fashion weeks but I had to stop as my knees would flair up so bad I had to request for hot water and towel to use on my knees in between runway shows.

I consider myself a hard worker but my health problems due to the abuse had made me as though I was given a different life, one I didn’t deserve because I can’t even pay my rent + bills and sometimes have to worry about food.

 

Private treatment for my knees( acupuncture, shots/ operation) I have been told I would require surgery but I am managing temporarily with acupuncture on a weekly basis as this reduces the extreme pain and keeps me away from going to the emergency room. 

 

- Therapy for my child abuse, depression and PTSD. I have been on the NHS waiting list for over 1.5years now and I really need professional help to help with the trauma I endured due to the the extent of the trauma, I  need to be in treatment for an extended period of time as my conditions are considered lifelong. 

 

- As well as legal fees to bring to justice to the perpetrators of my abuse.

 

Sometimes being in the fashion industry or looking ‘nice’ sends the wrong image of not needing help but this can be misleading as I need help to heal my childhood trauma which had made me want to lose my fight/will to live especially being in physical pain constantly.

 

My goal is to live a pain-free fruitful life where I feel healed.
