Sadaqa JāāriyAh on behalf of Abubakar Salim

أن لله وأنا إليه راجعون Salaam, peace be with you. We are the oldest sisters of Abubakar Salim, or as some of you know him, Baker Salim. On Tuesday, June 13, 2023 our youngest brother Abubakar's life was tragically taken. Abubakar grew up in a household where moral values and faith was instilled in him at a young age and he was the youngest of 4 siblings. Abubakar was a peace maker and didn't associate with drama. He was wise beyond his years, a generous soul, a good son to his parents, a good brother to his siblings, mild-tempered, and a good listener. He was someone who would give a shy smile and was modest with his words. Abubakar had just turned 19 years old this month and was trying to navigate life after graduating high school, attending Green River College to get his IT Cybersecurity and Networking degree. We plan, but Allah is the Best of Planners. Our family believes that this is the best way of bringing mercy and forgiveness for Abubakar by raising money on his behalf and donating the funds to the needy and poor. Sadaqah giving was instilled in all of us at a very young age and we know this is what he would have wanted. In addition to your donations, we kindly ask that you make dua for him, keep him in your prayers, and we pray that Allah showers his mercy on him and many others who have lost their lives. May Allah reward you for your kind donations and for your time in helping honor our brother and increasing his good deeds to take with him to the Hereafter. We pray the same for you.
