Abroad studies on human trafficking

My name is Kayla and I am a student at University of Maryland, studying Criminology and Criminal Justice. My passion is in investigations directed towards human trafficking. This particular field is very difficult and by going on this trip I will get hands on experience working with both government agencies and non profit to find and help victims. I want to make a difference in as many lives I can, as soon as I can. Unfortunately financial aid only helps if you take on additional classes. I am applying for scholarships but won't hear anything till much closer to date (Fingers crossed). This is a credited class that takes me on location to do the work, I believe, I was destined by God to do. If given this opportunity I can jump start my career to make a large difference in someone else's life. There are so many reason why people get trafficked and none of it is by free will. By assisting me in reaching my goal, I can establishing the right connections to begin the process to help them. What ever can be donated is a huge help. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
