My name is Alexis Abrego, I am 19 years old and I am from Richmond, TX. This is my family.
We have endured a great deal of loss due to Hurricane Harvey and the flooding it created. Our home has sustained extensive water damage, our cars were submerged and no longer run, anything that's remained has been damaged or ruined.
We have searched for help from our insurance company only to have all of our claims denied. FEMA has kept us on a permanent pending status since we first applied. We are short on places to turn to and so now we turn to you.
We are simply trying to rebuild our home and our lives. Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. All donations will go towards building materials for our home and replacing the neccesities we have lost.
