Abi Jaques Loule Cup Fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Abi Jaques. I am a Double Mini Trampoline Gymnast and I currently represent my Home Nation England in this Sport.
I am the current 17-21 British Champion but this year I have moved into the Senior Age Group for competition and will compete at the British Championships in September in Birmingham.
So far this year I have had the opportunity to represent England for the first time at the Frivolton cup in Sweden where I placed 2nd to the current Senior Ladies World Champion. My aim this year is to gain experience in international competitions to get used to the different environments and level of competition these events offer, helping me to prepare for my long term goal of competing as a Senior at the World Championships.
I am very excited that I have been selected to represent England for a second time at the Loule Cup which is taking place in Portugal in October. The Loule Cup will give me the valuable international experience I require and will be the first FIG (Federation international gymnastics) sanctioned event I will have competed at. This competition is self-funded and will cost £850.
I currently fund my own training, competition expenses and England training camps by working as a coach and giving back my experience and knowledge to the sport I love. However, the cost of international competition this year is proving difficult for me to fund.
If you feel you are able to support me with my goal to compete in the Loulé Cup any donations will be gratefully received.
