Guatemalan alumni from the United World Colleges (UWC) and the Guatemalan Scholarship Association (Asociación Becaria Guatemalteca-ABG) in Washington, DC are launching a campaign to fundraise US$10,000. Our goal is to support extraordinary students through scholarships to attend high schools in Guatemala and abroad through ABG.
ABG has sponsored Guatemalan students since 1957. They currently provide scholarships to over 50 high school students both locally and internationally through the UWC network. You can find out more about ABG here, UWC here, and stories about past Guatemalan alumni here.
