This fundraiser if for Aarti's higher education college fund. A smart, hardworking and dedicated young girl who resides in India with her Parents and a younger Sister.
Her father is a salesman in a small clothing market and is the single earner for the family. Their monthly household income is $200 which is barely enough to feed the family of four.
Her dream of pursuing higher education and eventually supporting her family financially to give them better life became obstructed when all banks declined her education loan application. Her family doesn't own any property/business etc. and is not capable of providing collateral against the education loan.
Aarti's parents are not educated. If her dream of getting higher education is fulfilled, she will be the first Graduate in the family and will be able to help her family get out of debt and poverty.
Donations will be going to Aarti's education fund which will help her in achieving her dreams of getting a Masters degree in Accounting.

"My parents have always supported me and have never kept me deprived of anything. Till now all my financial needs have been met by my family but now when it comes to further studies it will be really hard for my parents to support me with this huge financial burden. I know it'll be tough emotionally to leave my family behind but I am excited to see what future holds for me. My goal is to become a successful accountant and help others in the community to fulfill their dream if given a chance to pursue my own."
