Aaron's Kidney Fund

Hello everyone, my name is Aaron Gunning. December 2014 my kidneys starting shutting down. I just didn't know it yet. It was not until 2016 that I went to visit a Urologist because of abnormal unrine. I was told this was a kidney issue, and was directed to a nephrologist. She determined I had IgA nephropathy, also known as Berger's disease. This is a kidney disease that occurs when IgA deposits build up in the kidneys, causing inflammation that damages kidney tissues. IgA is an antibody—a protein made by the immune system to protect the body from foreign substances such as bacteria or viruses. Now I am on dialysis three days a week and am looking to get a kidney transplant. I fortunatley have a few potential donors. Now my plight is to help pay for the surgery, and pay for living expenses while I am out of work for two months after surgery. I am looking to get this procedure done in march or april depending on the donors wishes, but it could be much longer if there is not a match. This transplant will help me get my life back, help me feel better overall, and allow me to regain the energy neseccary to maintain a normal lifesytle. Any person can donate with a healthy lifesytle.
