Aaron’s world parajiujitsu campaign for Abu Dhabi

Hi my name is Aaron Reilly. Last July I took a stroke which affected the frontal lobe and perietal lobe of my brain. This was a major blow to me and made me realise just how precious life really is. I had just started out on my MMA journey and also became a kickboxing champion. I was physically in a bad place but it affected my mental health equally. I can hand on heart say jiu jitsu saved my life. I have over the last few months with the help of family friends and team mates crawled my way back to fitness. It has been a long and hard struggle. This is a great opportunity for myself to compete at the United Arab Emirates parajiujitsu world championship and, I feel, also for Irish Brazilian jiu jitsu. Me and my coach must will stay here for 8 nights. We must be in the arena 2 days before to register into my category and then I am invited to watch the rest of the conventional competitors.
