Cramer MoMo Twins medical bills

Hi! Melissa here.  I am Cherylin's Aunt by marriage.  Great Aunt to Arabella and Anabeth.  WHile the due date is Oct. 17th, they will arrive earlier via a planned c-section.  Details as to why to follow.

The twins are what are referred to as Mono-mono twins which is an incredibly rare occurance. They will share both their amnions, chorions and placenta. They only happen in about 1% of monozygotic (identical twins) pregnancies.  This is a high risk pregnancy because the babies are floating around eachother and that leaves a great chance of the cords tangling around each other or becoming knotted.  For this reason Cherylin will be placed in the hospital at the end of June to be closely monitored.

Open Heart Surgery.  THis is the second reason i thought to set up this page. One of the babies has a condition called trasposition of the great arteries.  This is where the aorta and pulmonary arteries have switched position basically. Left untreated this means the body is not getting enough oxygen. This is going to be corrected with open heart surgery shortly after birth. 


For the reasons described above the next year is going to be a trying year for Cherylin and Travis and their family.  I'm looking to maybe try to help them, even if it's just a little bit!
