A Christmas Miracle

It doesnt take a village to raise a child but for the family of Stephanie Chapman, it has been family and lots of friends with support  for this sweet girl. As far back as April she has been sick. Bad news seemed to keep coming for her parents Christina Chapman and Marty Boyd. A few months back when Stephanie was sent to the hopital in Mississippi, where the family was living, when they sent her to Lousianna for better care.  After recieving treatment from different staff the most devistating news came for the parents. Stephanie needed a heart transplant and they could no longer help her due to a insurance conflict and they needed to take her to Baylor in Texas but with Stephanies condition they was flown into Baylor in Dallas, TX. With no hesiatation these two parents left with a bag of clothes and left everything they owned in a storage and returned at a later time for there belongings when they got into an apartment in Texas. A long ride ahead of them with nothing in hand these parents got to there daughter with faith and family.  Baylor has been a lifesaver for this girl Stephanie as they were treating her to keep her living. Baylor was considering many options and then placed her with a LVAC. Stephanie seemed to be doing wonderful when she turned for the worse. On December 12 2016 her parents returned Stephanie when they were told she would no longer get to come home due to her LCAV no longer working and would remain in Baylor care till a heart trandplant become available. Nothing more scarier then seeing your child almost coming to an end till Christmas when a miracle came. With our mighty lord hearing our prayers a heart was available for Stephanie and went under surgury early Chistmas morning. Now we wait and pray that Stephanie will heal and live the life she deserves with her parents, siblings, and lots of other family and friends. Parents will needs some assistance with the medication that she will be needing that her primary and secondary insurance does not cover everything. Parents have been staying with their duaghter this whole time and what parent would leave their child in that condition? With the kindness of your heart if your able to help please do. Even a dollar ads up. Christina and Marty just got a home for this family and I would hate to see something happen due to not alot of income is coming in. This family is needing food and gas to go to and from home to hospital. There home is about 60 miles or so from Baylor so it adds up. More importanly as I said before her medication that Stephanie WILL need is expensive that insurance does not fully cover everything. These parents arent the kind to go and ask for help. I have seen them house so many people and help many many time to others. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN AND PRAY FOR HEALING OF STEPHANIE BUT DONT FORGET THE DONORS FAMILY AS THEY LOST A LOVED ONE.
