Medical Bills Relief

Hello fellow humans, I am reaching out to the community as I was recently hit by a car while riding my bike to work. I primarily sustained injuries to my head and face, having a lip laceration, maxilla jaw fractures, cheekbone fracture, rib fracture, concussion, and severe dental trauma. I am currently only able to consume liquids and soft foods, and this will remain unchanged until I am able to afford having surgery. I am an alum of the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and recently moved to Denver by myself for a position with AmeriCorps, a non-profit organization that services communities and the environment. I have only lived in this city for a month and my health and dental insurance are unfortunately not accepted here, resulting in medical bills exceeding what I can afford for surgeries and reconstruction. Liability in Colorado requires individuals to be more than 50% liable for insurance purposes, and because my head injuries resulted in me having no recollection of being hit and no witnesses were at the scene, the individual that hit me is not required to pay any of my medical bills. All funds will be going towards lawyers and medical bills. Thank you for taking the time to read this, any amount of help is so incredibly appreciated.
