Hello friends and family!
The Storey family has encountered tremendous hardship with the declining health of their wife and mother, Cathy Storey.
Cathy's health has slowly deteriorated over the past years and has recently made a turn for the worst. She has been diagnosed with Korsakoff's syndrome, a permanent disorder of the brain that has left her incapacitated. Doctor's have expressed that recovery is unlikely and suggested she be put on hospice care. Cathy currently resides at home where she receives the ongoing love and support of her family while being tended to by a wonderful support group of nurses and caretakers.
Husband and father, Jack Storey, has also recently been subjected to his own medical complications. One year ago, he was diagnosed with colon cancer and has since undergone surgery to treat the effected area. Fortunately, the cancer was not detected to have spread and he has made an incredible recovery. As a precautionary measure, Jack continues to undergo medical testing in an effort to monitor and maintain his remission status.
It has been an unspeakably difficult year for all of us, both emotionally and financially. Jack continues to work endless hours to support his family but has faced trouble with the accumulating medical expenses and overwhelming emotional stress accompanying our family's situation.
It is with that, we reach out to all of you and kindly ask for your help. Donations go directly to helping alleviate the substantial medical expenses of both Cathy and Jack during this time. Any help would be deeply appreciated...
