Crohn's Disease

I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in December 2019. Crohn's Disease is a type of IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome)  where the large intestine meets the small intestine and becomes inflamed. This disease can result in severe abdominal pain, nausea, lightheadedness, vomiting, low energy levels, etc. While some can treat this Disease, doctors have said that there is no cure for the disease.

Since having Chron's Disease, I have had hives because of certain medications, and now I am allergic to things that I wasn't allergic to before. I can't eat certain foods because it will make me vomit. I have to wear clothes that are 100% cotton because I will start to itch. The medicine that I take for Crohn's Disease is too pricy.  I have to be careful of the medications that I take because it might break me out and cause my throat to swell. I have to seek alternative medicine to help lower the pain of having this Disease. Having this Disease causes me to stress out. There are many things that I use to help calm me down. I use certain types of teas and just recently bought Warmies Cozy Plush Heatable Lavender Scented Stuffed Animal. This stuffed animal can be heated and stuffed with grains to increase pressure on any part of the body. Along with the lavender smell, not only does this calm me, but it allows me to feel pressure to lessen my anxiety. 

Because of the Disease, it's been hard to keep up with the medical bills and visits to the hospital. Purchasing alternative medications, the treatment, and other things have caused a strain on our family, not to include the day to day bills that come with having a family.

Since then, my family has been struggling with medical bills and trying to get me through the rest of my schooling. If these needs were met, it would also cause relief for my family and me. Its been difficult keeping up with the needs of this Disease. I could appreciate help offset some of the financial responsibility, so the weight of purchasing these items will no longer be over our head.
