Funeral for Bryce Jones

My name is Jason Rossiter, I am Bryce's best friend from Stockton. Also on our fundraising team is Melanie Bayliss (bryce's fiancee) and Michaella Newman (my partner and bryce's other best friend from Stockton). Bryce's family have now arranged the funeral and have arranged for him to be cremated. They have agreed that we are splitting his ashes so that they have half and we have half. We are going to be burying our half of Bryce's ashes and the funds from this fundraiser will be being used as follows: 1. Purchase of a double grave as Mel is being buried with Bryce when she passes 2. Burial of Bryce's ashes 3. Purchase of a headstone for on top of the grave 4. Hiring of a Chapel and a celebrant to have a short service for Bryce before the burial of his ashes. We will upload a copy of the invoice that we will be receiving from the funeral home as soon as we receive it. We can also confirm that the funds will be being withdrawn by myself and the full amount raised will be being given straight to the funeral directors as soon as we receive them. Bryce Jones was a wonderful man, partner, best friend and father. On 20th May 2020 he was confirmed to have Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma and on 24th May 2020, aged just 27, he sadly lost his fight to the lymphoma and due to multiple organ failure. Sadly his death may have been avoided if a doctor had ordered tests on the lumps that had appeared in his neck a year ago, we were told that he would have had an 85% chance of survival this way. However, this was never done and it cost Bryce his life. His partner and best friends are now in the process of organising his funeral, but due to not being able to work, and exhausting all other options to raise the money for the initial down payment for the funeral, we are struggling. Bryce now leaves behind his partner Mel, a son aged 5 and another son that he will never get to meet as Mel is 34 weeks pregnant with their second child. We are hoping to give him the send off he deserves. Thank you for taking the time to read our plight.
