College Fund

Tim is an intelligent, sweet and very interesting kid who deserves a chance to become financially independent. He has survived horrific abuse and neglect and has been homeless for several years. He has no family support and has aged out of the foster care system.  Although he holds several part-time jobs and recently received his GED, he has no financial safety net to help him transition to the local community college where he would like to pursue a degree in Health & Nutrition. Tim needs financial help to cover housing, tuition,  books, a laptop, transportation, and clothing. I have opened a Savings Account Trust through Redwood Credit Union and will dole out funds as needed.  As his GED tutor, I can personally attest to the fact that Tim is deeply committed to changing his life. He's also just a wonderful kid who needs a chance.
