Respite care

I am a full-time caregiver to my partner of 37 years. Patrice is totally bed-ridden. She has dialysis 3 days a week along with a myriad of significant and complex medical needs. I have recently had a total knee replacement and currently unable to take care of her during my own recovery over the next six months.

Medicare and Insurance are not available resources for the needed skilled nursing facility as it is not doctor specified for her recovery. The need is for me getting respite care so I can recover.

We have exhausted our own financial resources in retrofitting our home and automobile to accommodate Patrice’s immediate and long-term medical equipment requirements.
