On May 28th, 2014 my 13 week pregnant girlfriend and I were in a serious car accident. This was bad news before I even got to the hospitol, because I dont have health insurance. I fractured the orbital bones above my left eye and my right cheeck bones. A metal shard about an inch and a half by an inch went through the brindge of my nose and into the back of my left eye, puncturing it. I was told I need surgery ASAP or i could loose sight in my left eye. This surgey is going to cost $20,000 alone, because I am not covered by any health insurance. I would appreciate any help that I can get from anyone. My whole entire outlook on life has changed because of this accident, not only because I am alive but more because of the fact that My girlfriend is alive and healthy and my baby is still healthy. I love this girl more than anything in the world and I was doing everything I could to support her and  saving for our baby by working a full time job (50-60 hours) a week at Taco Bell and throwing a newspaper route from 1am-6am. The exaustion finally caught up with me as I fell asleep right afer throwing the newspaper route. I fell asleep at the wheel and hit a telephone pole, while my girlfriend was asleep in the backseat.
