In the past years Talibans have put on fire and destroyed many schools in Afghanistan.
Wave of Hope for the Future refugee schools is willing to give a strong message by supporting the reconstruction of a school and starting quality education activities for children in Afghanistan.
5 months ago we set up a team of local friends, professionals and volunteers in the Farza district, that is a rural area located 100Km north of the capital Kabul, where many of our teachers originally come from.
The Farza region was controlled by Talibans until 2 year ago and now is a fairly free and secure area, but still very poor and without infrastructures, especially for education.
The one and only school in the region was abandoned and destroyed in the past years during the Talibans occupation of the region.

Now, with the financial support of Wave of Hope for the Future, our team and the local community have started to reconstruct the school!
They already complete the demolition of the old building, that was in a bad and dangerous status, and finished the reconstruction of a two floors school:
We estimated we will need a sum of at least 25.000 eur to be able to finish the building, refurbish the school and start activities for the children of the region.
With your support we will have over 900 students enrolling the new school in Afganistan soon, hopefully by January 2021!
