My father (Abelardo Tuazon Jr) came here in Australia as a tourist last August 2019. He has been with us and takes care of my children at home. Recently, my dad was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer.
How? He has been complaining of sore throat in the past few months. But just this month we noticed that he is losing his voice. We decided to consult a specialist (ENT). Initial finding was a mass in his throat. Biopsy was done and confirmed that it was a malignant mass.
The good news is it did not spread to any other parts of the body. The doctor discussed to us the possible treatment and the surgery that he needs to undergo is total laryngectomy plus radiotherapy on 26 May 2020.
I am now humbly asking those who can help me raise enough money to perform all this procedures and help me bring back my dad's voice once again.
