Dear Reader,

Often people feel too proud and mighty of themselves, but deep inside, we know that we need help but are too afraid to ask. We try and do everything by ourselves to keep from feeling the humiliation of asking. We want to appear strong when we know we're weak. People who know me can you tell that I'm very private with personal affairs. However there comes a time in one’s life when we have to humble ourselves and step out on FAITH.

I am Cedrick Robinson and I am in need of your support...

On April 3rd I had surgery on my right arm for a triangular fibro cartilage complex tear. I'm right handed and have been out of work for past 2 months. I'm currently employed with The Federal Bureau of Prisons where I teach GED to inmates. Prior to surgery I had a total of 116 hours of leave saved; which I depleted within the first 3 weeks post-surgery. Therefore I was placed on FLMA leave without pay. Furthermore, since I'm right handed and can't use my right hand; I'm temporary disabled. My job doesn't offer short or long term disability so I have no income coming in. On May 20, 2014, I went to doctor he removed the FULL RIGHT ARM hard cast, preformed x rays and a fourth MRI which is $100 copay per MRI and $35 copay per Doctor's visit. Dr. McClelland informed me that I’m healing well but I'll be out of work for at least the 8 more weeks and must start physical therapy with full recovery expected to take 3 to 6 months. I have spent more than $800 for my prescriptions alone. Not mention the copayments I paid for the surgery, MRI's, post-surgery visits which have cost almost $4K. Started physical therapy on Thursday May 22th @ 3 times a week for the next 8 weeks my copayment is $35 per session which I really can’t afford but I need in order to recover and return to work. Also not to mention one nerve medication that the need cost $338 and that's with insurance. I thought I would have returned to work by now. However, I cannot return to work until I've completed all treatment and released from my doctor. Nonetheless, I feel God will always make a way. No contribution is too small $1, $2, etc...whatever you can donate, is greatly appreciated. God Bless and may you have a grace filled week.

Thank you, Cedrick Robinson
