Hello my name is Nicole

I’m 2 years old. I was born partially deaf, partially blind, paraplegic, diagnosed with cerebral palsy and suffer from scoliosis.

Oct 27 , 2017 I was born at Miramar Hospital wereI was transferred to Joe DiMaggio.

I’m a Miracle Baby 
 

On Dec 25 , 2018 I  was Transferred from The Keys Hospital to Nickaul Children’s Hospital because suffer a hypoxia episode.

When my Mom was 17 weeks pregnant.


 
On May 25 , 2017 

we were involved in a roll over car accident where she was ejected from the car.

My mom was in ICU for four months and the doctors did not believe I would make it or be a full term baby.

On Dec 5 , 2017 I had another episode and I stopped breathing. 

I beat the odds and was born a full term baby but was only born 4 pounds and 12 oz . I was in the NICU for almost the first year of my life.


When I am at home I used to have a 24 hour nurse who takes care of me because I breath through a trach which needs to changed often and eat through a G-tube.

 

I regularly see 10 specialists a month. Urology , Neurology, Gastro, Orthopedist , Pulmonology, Nutritionists, Genetics... and the list goes on!i have an appointment with E.M.T Because I need to put ears tube and because am in and out of the hospital, I am prone to getting sick. Stem cell therapy has been introduced as an idea which could help with my recovery but no insurance company will cover that and expenses will be paid out of pocket. 

What are stem cells?

Stem cells are the body's raw materials — cells from which all other cells with specialized functions are generated. Under the right conditions in the body or a laboratory, stem cells divide to form more cells called daughter cells.
These daughter cells either become new stem cells (self-renewal) or become specialized cells (differentiation) with a more specific function, such as blood cells, brain cells, heart muscle cells or bone cells. No other cell in the body has the natural ability to generate new cell types.






I am creating this go fund me in hopes of receiving some funds too allow me to pursue getting stem cell treatment. Thank you
