A trip to Filmapalooza aka our first festival

We’re a group of people with big passion for filmmaking but a little money to pursue our goals, hence why you’re reading our gofundme profile right now ;)

We managed to win the polish edition of 48HFP (for those of you that don’t have a clue what that is – it’s an international film contest where you have to make a short film within 48h. That means our film will be screened at the Filmapalooza Film Festival in Lisbon this year, which we are extremely proud of.

It surely feels great to win, but due to the lack of funds, we’re not able to celebrate it as a team and that’s why we need your help!

As a wining team, we received a 6000 PLN award (roughly £1173/1496$), but that barely covers 5 entry passes for Filmapalooza and our team consists of 14 individuals.

Passes for the winning team cost £214/272$ per person. Tickets to Portugal are roughly £200/255$ per person. Then, we have additional costs of renting a place + paying for travel and food in Lisbon.

If we wanted the whole team to go, just the plane and festival tickets would cost us around £5800/7400$. We don’t expect to raise this much money, hence why we’re setting the goal to £500 for now.

Every penny counts and any amount raised will be a great help. Even if you can’t support us financially, we’d greatly appreciate if you could share this page with others.
