HELP JOSH PAY TRIBUTE TO THE LATE GREAT GRANT HART

Donation protected
In short: Help me raise $1350 so I can pay nine band members $150 each for a live performance of my brand new record: 8 classics by the legendary punk band Husker Du arranged for a 10-piece Otis Redding-style soul revue. No amount is too small, and any amount entitles you to a free download of the record when it's out.

This is a dream long gestating: Husker Du were HUGE for me back in the day, not least of which due to the peerless songwriting of drummer/singer Grant Hart. When he died of liver cancer in 2017, heart-wrenchingly early at the age of 54, there were murmurings around town of potential tributes, but unfortunately they all fizzled and life went on. That never sat right with me, and it dropkicked an idea that had long been germinating in the back of my mind straight up to the front of it, fully formed, kicking and screaming, and it would not leave: Husker Du were ostensibly a 'punk' band, but Grant's songs always felt, to me, far more akin to the Otis Redding records I loved than the Johnny Rotten records I loved... what if I ran with that?
So I ran with it.
The album is done: "Grand Heart", 8 Grant classics arranged for my twisted idea of an Otis Redding soul revue--lotsa horns, lotsa vocals, and (utterly unlike Husker Du) no guitars. It is, hands down, one of my finest achievements as a human being, BUT: what I'm REALLY psyched about is playing this suite LIVE, in front of an audience, because THAT, finally, will be the tribute that's been brewing in my heart since 2017. To do that, I need a 10-piece band, who deserve to be paid. Ideally, well paid.  The band is assembled, the show booked (4/15, Club Fugazi in San Francisco--it's the record release party), and though I have a ‘rich’ life, none of that richness is particularly financial: if I can raise $1,350, I can pay the other 9 members of the band $150 each without breaking the bank. They deserve more (this is no small undertaking), but here's the thing:  if I raise more, they get more--every cent raised will go towards this sterling pack of individuals who were cool enough to do this for labor-of-love money when they easily could've done something else for what-they-actually-deserve-and-usually-get money. That is a rare and admirable mindset I'd love to see, just once, rewarded with actual money. So I come to you, cap in hand...
Your help on this would be immensely appreciated: and again, literally no amount too small.

Help me pay a bunch of righteous musicians what they deserve.
Help me, finally, pay a proper tribute to the late, great, Grant Hart.
