A Tragedy within a tragedy, please help.

On Wednesday, August 5th, our family went through an incredible tragedy. We received a phone call that our grandparents home -  where our grandmother Annette Roddy, grandfather Fenwick Roddy, and Aunt Jeannie (Regina) Schreiber resided - was on fire.

We arrived as our grandparents were taken by ambulance and watched the house be engulfed in flames that held over 30 years of memories, keepsakes, and family heirlooms. Asking numerous bystanders multiple times where our aunt was - our father was pulled aside to be told that our mother’s sister, our grandmothers daughter, and our aunt - did not survive the fire.

A tragedy within a tragedy is all we can say. Our grandparents lost everything. None of it replaceable. We do not know the cause of
the fire and know it will take time to get the insurance figured out. We are asking for any support at this time. Their beloved dog - Angel, and their two cats did not survive the fire either  

This year has been the worst year of our lives and I’m sure for many others. We ask that you spare anything you can to help my grandparents. To go through losing your home of three decades is devastating enough, but there are no words for what they are going through with losing the best most kind hearted person on this planet through this tragedy. they lost their whole world. 

We don’t know where to go from here, it will be a very long road, but we are here to support them every step of the way and are looking foryou to walk with us in this journey of healing, grief, and recovery.
