A Service Puppy for Lisa

I am hoping to make a dream come true for my cousin Lisa. Recently, she lost her elderly dog that was the one constant in her life. The last few months of her dog Gizmo's life drained her physically and financially.

Unfortunately, after her dog's passing she developed even more health issues because she no longer had the animal that she needed to provide a calming element in her life. ( Gizmo provided a very calming distraction for Lisa when it came to her extreme anxiety and ptsd. )

I want to help take the financial edge off so that she can get a new puppy to help her through her constant medical challenges. She is seeking a puppy to train properly for the service tasks that are needed. She has located a person who has reserved a low-allergen puppy that fits that bill. She was so excited but expressed that she is still paying off bills from her last dog and that coming up with all of the funds may truly pose a challenge. With the quarantine, healthy, low-allergen puppies are very hard to obtain and most are extremely expensive.

A little bit about my cousin Lisa. I want to start by saying that although she has never-ending health challenges in too many ways to count - she is THE MOST giving soul on earth. If you are having a bad day she has a way of making it better - whether it be with a card in your mailbox, a baked good or something that she has sewn herself.  She is often doing something nice for disadvantaged neighborhood children and other people with health challenges of their own. She is the first person that will gather prayers in quantity for anyone in need.   She is someone that truly walks the walk religiously but does all of it without judgement. She is full of grace and is what I call an "Earth Angel".

The puppy that is reserved will be available January 12th and I want to do my best to make a late Christmas wish come true. She is the most deserving person that I know and I would like to see her happiness return with the love of a new canine friend.
