A sweet boy & his dog

Braxton Kinsey was born with a heart defect, Bicuspid Aortic Valve. Due to this condition he has had multiple procedures yearly, but by the grace of God, no restrictions were placed on his activity or sports. In 2018, Braxton was diagnosed with severe migraines, which caused him to miss multiple days of school almost weekly. Due to his age Brax was unable to take medication for them and the pain he endures is heart wrenching. The end of 2019, proved to be the worse and scariest for the Kinsey family. One evening Braxton came into his moms room with his lips purple and eyelids rolling back in his head. After many tests, he was diagnosed with absence seizures. The seizures would come in 24-48hr episodes with multiple occurring. After the second incident, he was hospitalized and had to under go a 24hr EEG, in which over 24 electrodes were hooked to his head. He was officially diagnosed with epilepsy and the seizures began to worsen. The last one lasted over 6 minutes and Braxton was unable to talk or
walk for over an hour. He had an emergency
MRI and the nurses were overwhelmed by his braveness! This has been a huge scare for
Braxton's mom, dad, and two sisters, as well as his entire family. The Kinsey's are determined to provide the best and most normal life for
Braxton and in hopes of not limiting his
activity, sports, and just plain being a kid.
As you can imagine this is tough! The Kinsey's looked into a seizure alert dog for Braxton
that would alert his parents when Braxton
was fixing to seize.

The cost was enormous and totaled over
$18,000. They have found an amazing training facility that is willing to train Braxton's dog, he currently has, for a cost of $4600. They require at least a $1,000.00 down payment. As you can
imagine with the medical bills, even with
amazing insurance coverage, still poses a huge burden!

This alert dog will not only give the family so much comfort but Braxton as well.

Please find the trainers information attached
for any questions!
