In 2023, I had a dream about a space for rent. Though I'd never aspired to opening a brick-and-mortar business, this dream seemed like divine inspiration, and I couldn't shake it. As months and years passed, the concept for Soul Care Café came into focus, and I received confirmation after confirmation that this was a God dream.

Soul Care Café currently offers spiritual direction and coaching, online and in person at my home in North Canton, Ohio. My vision is to open a community gathering place in Stark County where people of all ages and walks of life feel cared for and connected.

Like Cheers, it will be a watering hole where regulars are known by name. But instead of intoxicating beverages, we will offer fair trade coffee, real fruit smoothies and overflowing cups of kindness.

Like Central Perk, Soul Care Café will be a neighborhood hangout where friends can get cozy and enjoy live music by local artists.

Like Chick-fil-A, our service will be distinguished by courtesy and class ... and we'll be closed on Sundays.

Our team of certified coaches and spiritual directors will be available by appointment to help people nurture their souls and reach their goals.

Soul Care Café won't be just another coffee shop, but a place where people can slow down, find connection and be reminded that they don’t have to do life alone.

The first step is finding the right space and making it ready to welcome people, and that's where this fundraiser comes in. Help me turn a dream into a doorway—and make this vision a reality.
