A Seizure free life for Josh
Donation protected
I've started this GoFundMe for my nephew Joshua. After being born through emergency C-section and having to be revived at birth, most of his early childhood was that of any normal little boy. At age 9 is when he experienced his first Seizure having to spend his Birthday at Rainbows Children's Hospital. After being put on different Medications his seizures were under control. In 2015 Josh had a Seizure while driving his car. The car was totaled but he was not hurt. At that time Josh was put on different medications to try and gain control of his seizures, but none of the medications worked. A new Dr wanted Josh to go on short term disability for six months to do a work up and he determined that brain surgery was the best option for him. After being denied Long term disability and Medicaid he had to return to work but because of the seizures Josh could not return to his Normal Job as a Tow-motor operator, he had to take a position at one of their local stores making much less per hour. In August he returned to short term disability and had the his first of three brain surgeries. November 7th he will go in for his second surgery to determine if the spot on his brain can be removed. This will be more invasive with a longer stay. It has been very difficult for him to pay Medical bills, Medications, House payments and food. Please help me take away a little of this burden for him while he focuses on getting healthy. No Donation is too small and is greatly appreciated, and if you cant make a donation please share with family and friends. Thank you and God Bless...
