A Rug for Miss Hartley

Hey y’all! My name is Sara Beth Hartley and I’m going into my 3rd year of teaching next fall. I taught kindergarten last year and then took a leap and went to 2nd grade! It is by far my favorite age to teach! I teach at an inner city school in Birmingham, Alabama where 99% of our children receive free/reduced lunch. It is my biggest reward and privilege to teach! Even though I’ve only taught for 2 years, I seem to have everything I need besides a classroom rug. This past year, I brought in a very small rug that only sat half my class. I ended up taking it home because it did not work for my kids. My desire is to purchase an area rug through Lakeshore Learning. However, these rugs run up to $489. I would love your help and generosity in purchasing a rug for my sweet kiddos that will provide them with the classroom community they crave.
