A Ramadan Mission to Aid the Needy - Syla

Assalaamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatu,

Myself and Team Humanity Worldwide will be traveling to support the most needy during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan encompasses more than mere food abstinence; it's a time for extending generosity and compassion to others, ensuring that everyone, especially those facing hardships, can partake in the month's blessings with ample provisions for the pre-dawn meal (Suhoor) and the sunset meal (Iftar). It serves as a period of self-reflection, spiritual growth, and community solidarity. Through fasting, we develop empathy and awareness for those grappling with food insecurity.

Throughout our deployment, our focus is on delivering assistance to displaced communities enduring severe poverty, and living below the poverty line. These resilient individuals have confronted unimaginable challenges and sought refuge in neighboring countries for safety. Our mission is clear: to provide them with essential food packs and Iftar meals, enabling them to observe Ramadan with dignity.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasises the importance of feeding others. His words, "The best of you are those who feed others''.

Team Humanity Worldwide will be distributing your donations via food packs, hot Iftar meals and distributing your Zakat to those applicable.

Food packs will feed a family of 5 for a whole month and cost £60
